Georgetown Blogger Crawl: Pinstripes

Tucked away in the heart of Georgetown, Pinstripes is among the newest additions to the area after opening about a year and half ago.  Our Georgetown Blogger Crawl crew took a tour of Pinstripes and discovered there's something here for everyone.

It's the perfect venue for children celebrating birthdays during the day, shoppers looking to rest after a long day of walking Georgetown streets, or party-going adults wanting to do something other than going to a typical bar at night.

Bistro

In the bistro area, you're able to sit down and order food and drinks without being disturbed by nearby bowlers or bocce players.  You also get a great view of the kitchen as your meal is being prepared.

Food

The food was delicious, inexpensive, and mostly Italian.  I tasted the pizzas, flatbreads, sliders and desserts and I enjoyed them all. I actually can't wait to go back and try more, as Italian is one of my favorites.

Bocce and Bowling Lanes

While bowling or playing bocce, you can order food and drinks to enjoy.  Bowling shoes are free to rent and complimentary socks are available if you've left yours at home.

Party Space

In addition to the bocce and bowling lanes, there are separate event spaces to rent for hosting parties.  So for your office holiday party, you can enjoy a buffet style cocktail party and then the bowling and trash-talking with coworkers can begin.

Drinks

All of the spirits served at Pinstripes are premium, meaning there are no off brand liquors in your cocktails.  And they work with local craft breweries so if you're looking for your favorite well-known draft beers here...don't...which I think is great.  It's always good to try something new.  They also have a great happy hour, offering various specials each day of the week.

I can't wait to return with friends to Pinstripes.  It's less expensive than its downtown rival (Lucky Strike) and is not located in crowded downtown D.C. Thanks to Spicy Candy DC and Guest of a Guest for the invite!
